The Swift is a tuning platform more than a casual out-of-box blaster. It rewards careful barrel selection, spring matching, and dart choice.
Forge Reference use
For the MVP Forge Reference rollout, the Swift is a good reference platform for long-form springer tuning notes because it has a wide operating range and enough aftermarket support to make compatibility matter.

Known Issues
- Performance changes quickly when the barrel, spring, and dart fit are mismatched.
- High spring loads make dry firing and poor catch engagement harder on internals over time.
- Long-barrel setups magnify alignment problems at the muzzle.
Maintenance Notes
- Check catch surfaces, plunger seal lubrication, and barrel retention hardware after heavy spring swaps.
- Re-test FPS and grouping whenever spring weight or barrel length changes.
- Keep the breech path clean because debris shows up quickly at Swift power levels.
